Showreel 3

Here's a P51 called Susy which had just started its prop up about 10 feet away. It was, to say the least, windy.

And, perhaps more interestingly, here's a sneak preview of the next Hold Tight! mailout.

This disgusting individual has posted his new song up on his blog, but to stop people visiting the horrors that dwell there unwittingly, here's the link.

Where the hell did you meet Susy?

at a private airshow on sunday ;-)

it was a breitling thing, my dad has one. lots of spitfires, hurricaines, a hercules, a harrier, a lynx helicopter doing loop the loops!

very nice.. if your dad had a p51 I'd be even more impressed!

me too. although we went there in his porsche 911 carrera which made up for his appalling lack of a WWII fighter.

not even a humble but reliable hurricane..

yeah the hurricaine wasn't quite as good really. apparently the P51 was the daddy.

the spits were pretty good though. the ME-109 was noisy as hell and very teutonic.

quote of the day

'Eeh, the last time a saw one o' them it were shooting at me!'

no the hurricane wasn't quite as good, but shot down many more fuzzy wuzzies than spitfires I'm sure, although I certainly haven't got the stats to prove it. It may have looked half a generation behind, with it's lack of eliptical wing. And wasn't as good as the p51, no I guess not but they were differnet roles. One was cheaper to make I'd guess and an interceptor to keep us safe in bed while the other was bought over here for fighter escort for long range carpet bombing missions, which it certainly did very well. I'm going to Dresden in 2 weeks, with a Russian!
